Hi! Welcome to the world of learning 3D animation! This could be one of the most exciting and life-changing decisions in your life! Learning how to do 3D animation has never been easier! In this program, you’ll learn start from basics to very advance technique of 3D animation using Blender, the free open source 3D content creation suite.
Blender is an open source 3D animation software package. It can be used for modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, rigging, skinning, animating, rendering, particle and other simulations, non-linear editing, compositing, and creating interactive 3D applications.
Blender has a powerful feature set comparable in scope and depth to high-end 3D software such as Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Maya, Lightwave and Softimage XSI. These features include advanced simulation tools such as rigid body, fluid, and softbody dynamics, modifier based modeling tools, powerful character animation tools, a node based material and compositing system and Python for embedded scripting.

What You Will Learn.
Participants will learn step-by-step about the key areas of 3D Animation involved including modeling, rigging, animating, texturing, lighting, camera setting, audio mixing, rendering and composting. This full-time hands-on training will include both lecture and demos from the instructors.
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to continue using Blender as an expert beside the ability to produce fully animated high quality 3D animation short movie as shown below (as target achievement) and completing your own final open movie project as your personal portfolio reel.

for your future career.

This short movie originally produced in the studio of the Blender Institute in Amsterdam, Netherlands by Blender Foundations as third Open Movie project starting in year 2010.
In total 12 artists and three developers were invited to come over to Amsterdam for almost a year to create this fantasy action-based 3D short movie with Blender. Lead by renowned Blender artists Colin Levy (direction) and David Revoy (art direction) and with a script from Esther Wouda – based on ideas from famous Dutch cartoonist Martin Lodewijk – and music by Jan Morgenstern, this has been an exciting project!
